Fargo Flash predicts 42-39 Gophers win

I don't know how much of an expert I'd call Justin Conzemius, but he does know football pretty well. He had a nice breakdown this morning of this weekend's game against NDSU, and is predicting a Gopher win in a shootout, 42-39.

I agree with his assessment that there's no chance this is another 10-9 game. We don't have the defense to hold ANYONE to 9 points, and we don't have an offense that is going to be held to 10.

I'd love to see it, LOVE IT!!!

GO GOPHERS! BEAT the Bison!

Tim Brewster may actually perform lower than Les Steckel did 23 years. What a nice legacy he'll leave behind after his one short illustrious season. Can we fire him (and Joel Maturi) now. At least the players who are here will have some hope for next year.

What is sad is that most of the TV commentators have been apologizing for Brewsters lack of roster talent. This is the same roster that made it to bowl games the last several years,The same talent that managed to beat the lower division teams and surprise a few Big Ten opponents. All Brewster needed to do was get out of the way and let a roster full of superior atheletes beat an inferior opponent.
And the cold reality is,a head coach in the Big Ten does NOT get a honeymoon against the patsies of the MAC and a 1-AA team. Period.
